Andy Vieira started his packaging industry career in 1976 when he graduated from electrical school. He had an early passion for the packaging field and was excited to use the Industrial Electrical training he received.
Andy has worked for several well-known companies as an Electro Mechanic and then moved into the packaging equipment project manager arena in various industries. His experience in this area includes snack food, canning and pharmaceutical. It was during this time when he was introduced to MD Packaging and continued to be an MD Packaging client for several years.
Pleased now to be a part of the dynamic MD Packaging team, Andy is based in Vaudreuil, Quebec and is servicing the Western Quebec and Maritime provinces in the capacity of Technical Sales. His prior hands-on equipment experience, along with his compassionate perspective of client needs, having been one himself for several years, makes Andy a dedicated and knowledgeable solution-finder for his clients.
Andy Vieira a débuté sa carrière dans l’industrie de l’emballage après avoir gradué avec une formation en électricité industrielle. Il a rapidement développé une passion pour les équipements d’emballage et était très excité de mette en pratique les connaissances académiques qu’il avait recues.
Andy a travaillé pour plusieurs grandes entreprises renommées a titre d’électro-mécanicien pour ensuite s’orienter vers les équipements d’emballage comme coordonateurs de projet pour différentes industries. Son experience dans l’industrie de l’emballage inclus les secteurs alimentaire, cannage et pharmaceutique. C’est d’ailleurs pendant cette période qu’Andy a été introduit a MD Packaging Inc et demeura client de celui-ci durant plusieurs années.
Fier de faire maintenant parti de la dynamique équipe de vente de MD Packaging Inc., Andy est basé à Vaudreuil, Québec. Andy dessert la partie Ouest du Quebec ainsi que les Provinces Maritimes. Avec son experience antérieure en milieu manufacturier et ses aptitudes a bien saisir les besoins de ses client, ayant été lui-même client pendant plusieurs années, Andy a dédié sa connaissance et son savoir faire à procurer des solutions et répondre aux besoins de ses clients.

Michael’s career in packaging automation spans 4 decades. In 1971 Michael joined the sales team at Montreal based equipment distributor Major Packaging. Michael quickly established himself as an automation professional and ascended to the position of V.P. Sales until their closure in 1989. His extensive industry knowledge and lengthy list of satisfied customers led to the opening of MD Packaging in late 1989. His dedication to the industry and his reputation for delivering the best automation technology to his customers has attracted many of North Americas leading packaging technology manufacturers to establish their Canadian representation through MD Packaging.
Over the past eighteen years Michael has assembled a team of industry professionals in both sales and service that has resulted in MD packaging becoming the largest and most integrated packaging automation organization in the country. His success has gained him the respect and admiration from peers and competitors alike.

In early 1997, Brett joined Belcor Industries, an upstart packaging machine manufacturer based in Richmond, BC. As what would become one of the foremost end-of-line solution providers, Brett’s experience as the OEM Manager would provide him with exposure to industry leading OEM’s, large integrated projects and fortune 100 companies throughout Canada, the United States and Latin America. Under the new Promach ownership group in 2002, he was promoted to Industrial Group Sales Manager for the combined BEL/Wexxar product line. Making a significant move in 2006, Brett joined Pearson Packaging Systems, a US based manufacturer with responsibility for Robotic and Integrated Systems. As the newest member of the MD Packaging team, Brett brings a significant amount of end-of-line knowledge and expertise. Based in Vancouver, BC, he is responsible for servicing the needs of our customers in the four Western Provinces.
